The Department of Economics at the University of Essex is seeking to make multiple appointments at Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Reader/ Professor levels. Lecturers are equivalent to tenure track Assistant Professors positions and Senior Lecturers/ Readers are equivalent to tenured Associate Professors.
Applications are invited from all fields. Candidates should have a doctoral degree or be near completion. Successful candidates will have demonstrable potential in research and high quality teaching. For appointments at Senior Lecturer level or higher, a strong record of high quality research publications in leading international journals, a broad teaching portfolio and the ability to provide leadership and support in these areas is essential.
