The Student Services department is here to ensure that students at Essex experience a kick ass membership and have access to high quality Venues, Retail Offerings, Events, Catering outlets and an SU run Lettings Department. They are supported by the Premises Department who oversee maintenance and cleaning. No two days in the department are the same and the department embraces the Work Hard, Play Hard ethos. It is a fast paced, dynamic and challenging department that consistently strives to deliver its vital stats to ensure students at Essex have the best time while here.
You will be responsible for managing the portfolio of managed properties for Essex Student Homes Ltd and providing a quality service to tenants and landlords. You will assist the Lettings Manager in day-to-day operations of the department and deputising for the Lettings Manager in their absence. This may include working with our Southend and Loughton Campus.

ROLE SPEC
Member of ARLA (if not a member there will be an expectation that the successful applicant will become a member and sit any relevant examinations)
At least 2 years’ experience of Property Management
Experience of sales negotiation
Understanding of the Higher Education environment in relation to student accommodation
Knowledge of health and safety, risk assessments, safety and duty of care issues relating to the property industry (HMO Licensing Legislation etc)
