Duties of the RoleThe Undergraduate Administrator forms part of a team of administrative staff led by the Departmental Manager and is responsible for providing efficient and accurate administrative support to the running of the Department’s undergraduate modules and courses. In addition to this, the post holder is responsible for a number of other administrative tasks, such as providing support for health and safety matters.

Qualifications and Skills requiredThe successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and have experience of dealing flexibly with a wide range of responsibilities and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. You will have a good working knowledge of IT systems and their potential in supporting relevant processes.
With an ability to work effectively with students, academic and administrative colleagues, you will possess excellent communication skills, including a high standard of written English. You must have experience of using databases and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Applicants should possess 5 GCSE passes at a minimum Grade C or equivalent, including English Language and Maths. 3 A levels or equivalent qualifications would be desirable.
