We take an innovative and creative approach to our work and are at the forefront of new and best practice in communications, marketing, and stakeholder and customer service.We are seeking an exceptional Evaluation and Monitoring Assistant to work closely with and to work as part of the Make Happen outreach team. Make Happen is the collaboration of Higher Education (HE) Institutions, Further Education (FE) colleges, schools, local authorities and charities with a single purpose; to raise aspirations and widen participation in HE throughout Essex. Duties of the RoleThe Evaluation and Monitoring Assistant will take responsibility for monitoring a range of activities and innovative community projects with schools and colleges in Essex and will undertake data analysis and create new reports to inform the University's decision-making, planning and monitoring of its performance, enabling the achievement of Make Happen's objectives. In addition, the role will provide support to dashboard (Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT)) users, answer staff queries and develop/enhance existing user and training documentation. Responsibilities will also include undertaking the initial 'triage' of new queries received, helping to share awareness across the team about the nature of queries received and helping to organise user training.Skills and Qualifications requiredThe successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent level/ industry related qualification or experience and will have experience in data analysis and report development.You will be experienced in providing good levels of customer service and will be organised, self-motivated and have the ability to deliver inspirational communications to a range of audiences.
