DepartmentThis is an exciting time to join our new School, which is being formed by the merger of academic provision in sports and exercise science, sports therapy and physiotherapy, combined with significant new investment in a key area that we intend to grow into a distinctive world-leading group.Duties of the roleThe Deputy School Manager will be responsible for leading a new professional services team under the supervision of the School Manager and refining processes and procedures to deliver excellent customer service to students, academic staff and professional services colleagues across the University. All members of the team will be responsible for all levels of student administration, including undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students. This is an opportunity to think creatively and contribute ideas on how to develop the new School to meet the University's strategic aims. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to review processes and procedures, with a flexible, positive and enthusiastic attitude. The role requires someone who can lead and motivate a team, and be proactive in implementing change and developing new ways of working. Qualifications and skills requiredThe successful candidate should be educated to A level or equivalent experience.
