Due to growth on our Colchester campus, we are looking to recruit into several new roles to join our team based at University of Essex, recently voted University of the Year.
Duties of the role
We think organisational development is key to successful high performing teams, and we are looking for a Training, Systems and Health and Safety Co-Ordinator to coordinate the training and development of our many teams. This is a multifunctional role that will also oversee the implementation and management of our Health and Safety Policy whilst ensuring compliance across all our businesses.
Appointment to this post will be made on a permanent, part-time basis (30 hours per week). Operates on a weekly rota shift pattern, to be worked as required within the working operational window of 8am - 12am, 5 days in 7 days.

Qualifications and Skills required
It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 GCSE at grades A-C or equivalent, including English and Mathematics. It is desirable to hold a Health and Safety qualification in IOSH and Train the Trainer, however, you must have knowledge of Health and Safety legislation within the Hospitality industry.
You will also have demonstrable experience of using bespoke databases and other electronic systems, to maintain detailed computerised records, with the ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data across a range of functions.
We are looking for somebody who thrives on an organised approach to work, has a meticulous eye for detail, and is comfortable working with the full suite of Microsoft. Input and analysis of data together with robust record keeping skills would assist you in catching our eye.
