Strategic Planning and ChangeThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Planning and Business Intelligence Team, based within the Strategic Planning and Change Section, which has the responsibility for the development of high-quality management information and analysis to support strategic planning across the University, as well as essential information provision to external bodies. Interacting with all campuses, Faculties and delivery partners, the role of Planning and Data Insight Officer is broad and diverse.
The Role and DutiesThe post-holder is responsible for the provision of critical data analysis and insight, contributing towards the University's decision making and supporting key processes such as preparation for the Teaching Excellence Framework and Access Agreement monitoring. You will proactively identify opportunities to increase the understanding of and engagement with data, and will have strong people and stakeholder engagement skills as this role involves liaising with Departments, Schools, Faculties and with staff from other parts of the University's Professional Services and our partner colleges. The post-holder will be part of a team responsible for the timely and accurate submission of statutory data returns.
In addition, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional projects and will work closely with colleagues in other Professional Services, especially the Academic Section, Finance, and Communication and External Relations.
Qualifications and Skills requiredThe successful candidate will hold an honours degree or equivalent level qualification, whilst Tableau Certification is desirable but not essential.
