Communications and External Relations brings together the main areas involved in leading the University's student recruitment as well as strategic positioning and profile. Engaging with students, staff and stakeholders, we promote the University's excellence in research and education, and ensure its profile is communicated in a consistent way. We take an innovative and creative approach to our work and are at the forefront of new and best practice in communications, recruitment and marketing, engagement and customer service.
You will form part of the Marketing and Student Recruitment team, with responsibility for marketing and recruitment planning and delivery for Edge Hotel School (EHS).
Contract with immediate start through to 31 December 2022.
Duties of the Role
You will lead on the implementation of EHS undergraduate and postgraduate marketing conversion plans in order to maximise enrolments from the enquiry and applicant pools, using the full range of appropriate marketing channels. Duties will include:
Skills and qualifications required
To be successful you will require, experience in planning and delivering successful marketing plans to grow a business, experience of public speaking, familiarity of undergraduate and postgraduate student funding sources and excellent interpersonal skills with a record of influencing and motivating others.
Interest in and knowledge of current issues in the higher education sector would be useful, but we would consider candidates who can demonstrate successful marketing/recruitment experience from other sectors.
