We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and proactive individual to the position of Admissions Manager (Priority Agent Services); Admissions is part of the University’s Communications and External Relations section.
Duties of the Role
You will lead a small team responsible for the University’s Priority Agent Service (PAS). The Priority Agent service delivers an enhanced application experience, working with specific recruitment agents both in the EU and internationally. Working collaboratively with staff in Marketing and Student Recruitment and our Regional International Offices, you will ensure the delivery of a high quality, positive and consistent admissions service to applicants and other stakeholders involved in the Priority Agent Service. In addition, you will ensure that the Priority Agent Service team works proactively, efficiently and flexibly, undertaking regular process reviews in order to improve the applicant experience.
Other duties will include: line management responsibility; delivering briefings and training for staff involved in the Priority Agent Service; making decisions in a range of areas relating to the Priority Agent Service; developing relationships with members of the service; and monitoring the effectiveness of the service, including the production of reports that evaluate and analyse application and conversion rates.
Skills and qualifications required
The following are essential requirements for this role: highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; a proactive and customer-focussed approach, including the ability to work flexibly, and the ability to prioritise work at very short notice. You will be able to make robust and high-level decisions in a variety of areas with confidence. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also essential.
In addition, you should also hold a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification or experience.
