The University of Essex has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to provide pro-active support for our research community within the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering.
The School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering has an international reputation for the outstanding quality of its research, with more than two-thirds of its research being classed as 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent' (REF 2014).
The University of Essex is one of the leading research intensive universities in the UK, ranked top 20 for Research Excellence. The role will contribute to the achievement of the University's strategic aims of growing research income, increasing research partnerships, and delivering impact.
The successful candidate will work closely with both academics and colleagues across the Research and Enterprise Office, as part of a team providing research development and impact support across the university.
The successful candidate will have expertise in a relevant field, a strong track record of working successfully and creatively with academic staff, and experience of managing a diverse portfolio of research proposals.
