University of Essex Campus Services Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Essex, created in 2010 to manage its diverse range of commercial functions.
Duties of the role
The opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our Accommodation Essex team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a quality; customer focused cleaning service within the campus residential accommodation.
You must have the ability to undertake domestic cleaning to a high standard with good communication skills, a positive attitude to delivering good customer service and a flexible approach to work.
Appointment to this post will be made on a part-time (24 hours per week) permanent basis to be worked as required within the working operational window of 7.00am - 6.00pm, 5 days in 7 days.
The current working pattern being Monday to Thursday 9am - 2pm and Friday 9am - 1pm, however in the interests of working efficiency the University may from time to time review current working patterns. Changes to working patterns resulting from this will be subject to a minimum of 21 calendar days' notice.

Salary: GBP 16,498 per annum (pro rata), rising to GBP 17,338 (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of probationary period
