This post is based at our Colchester Campus and is part-time for 10 hours per week.Duties of the roleThe post holder will be responsible for reconciling and banking cash takings across Estates and Campus Services (ECS).You will work with our commercial operations to count the cash and card takings and prepare them for lodging with the bank. Responsibilities will also include dealing with coin/note transfers between tills, recording findings and summarising and communicating the findings to managers and the income and payments team.A full list of duties can be found within the jobpack.Skills and qualifications requiredThe successful candidate will hold a minimum of grade C GCSE in English and Maths and will have good basic IT skills and good numeracy skills. You will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a good team player.Experience of working within a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
