DepartmentAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the Research and Enterprise Office for a highly motivated and proactive Research Support Assistant to work as part of an administrative team delivering a high quality Pre-Award support service to the University's academic community involved in research grant application activity.
Duties of the RoleA key part of this role involves the preparation of financial information for inclusion in research grant and contract applications to external funders of research.
Skills and qualifications requiredThe person appointed will have proven experience of budgeting and financial control; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; and excellent organisational and administrative skills. The role will require the ability to work effectively to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be educated to A level (or equivalent qualification), including Mathematics and English.
