Reporting to the Head of Education you will be responsible for managing key areas of work within the Education team in order to make sure that we effectively represent and support the academic interests of our student members. To achieve this, you take responsibility for a diverse and rewarding portfolio of work including line managing staff, developing our Student Reps network, leading on important projects and developing effective relationships with key stakeholders within the Students’ Union and the university.

Evidence of successfully leading and motivating teams of staff and/or volunteers
Relevant professional or management qualification, or willingness to achieve
Previous experience of project management and evaluation
Previous experience of setting and monitoring budgets
Knowledge of risk assessments, health and safety and safeguarding considerations in relation to relevant activities
Ensure all data and information is managed in line with GDPR Regulations
Experience of all aspects of Line Management, including recruitment, development and appraisal
Good IT skills i.e. word, access, excel
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills
Evidence of continuing professional development at a senior level
Experience analysing data and producing reports
