The Resourcing Team
The Resourcing Team at the University of Essex currently consists of four Resourcing Advisers, three Resourcing Assistants, a Project Officer and is lead by the Head of Resourcing. They are responsible for all aspects of staff recruitment including advertising new roles, providing professional advice on recruitment and selection including immigration issues, and co-ordinating the bulk of administrative recruitment activity for posts at all levels across the University and also its subsidiary companies; University of Essex Campus Services and Wivenhoe House Hotel.
The Role
This is a very busy and varied role that supports the delivery of an efficient staff recruitment service for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the effective co-ordination of administrative aspects of the recruitment process, and will provide robust support to the Resourcing Advisers to ensure that the University recruits the right people with the right skills to deliver excellence in research and education, in a timely and efficient manner.
The PersonYou will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, whilst managing a range of tasks against multiple deadlines. You will also have effective communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide and diverse range of people.
You will be responsible for duties such as managing recruitment administration via i-Trent, including formal offers, contracts and interview invitations,
