The University is committed to providing a supportive and transformational study environment for its students at all levels of learning. To further this aim, the Talent Development Centre provides in sessional academic skills support through teaching, workshop provision and one-to-one advice sessions.
The TDC is looking to recruit additional, part-time tutors for Numeracy, Maths and Statistics to support an expansion in provision at both our Colchester and Southend campuses. The appointments will be for one or two terms.
Duties of the post will include: teaching support classes and one-off workshops for students at all levels of study; materials preparation and contributing to are online mathematics, statistics and numeracy resources. The successful applicants will be experienced teachers, and will be familiar with the aims and context of UK HE study.
Hours of work and length of contract can be tailored to suit the availability of successful applicants.
These posts are available at either the Colchester or Southend Campus.
