Applicants at the Lecturer level will engage effectively in substantive teaching and learning support roles in the School; generate external research funding; and produce research outputs for publication at acceptable levels of volume and academic excellence and disseminate the result of research and scholarship through appropriate Knowledge Exchange activities.
Applicants at the Senior Lecturer level will engage in sustained, influential and successful ways with substantive teaching and learning support roles in the department; develop and deliver assessment and feedback strategies and publish research outputs that are rated internationally excellent, which have significant impact in their field and to disseminate their results and scholarly findings in other appropriate and meaningful ways.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant doctoral level research degree in performance analysis or a related subject or be close to completion of PhD or equivalent professional practice and/or industry experience and you will have Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, or the ability to gain professional recognition at this or a higher level if appropriate.

At Senior Lecturer and Reader level, you will have a sustained record of effectiveness in education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; an established and internationally recognised research profile, with a well-developed future research agenda; and a strong track record of published academic output at international levels of recognition with evidence of a clear publication plan for submission to future REF programmes.
At all levels, strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability and willingness to complement and enhance the School’s research and education strengths and areas of planned development are essential.
