The DepartmentThis is an exciting opportunity to join the newly established Management and Marketing Group at Essex Business School in the field of Strategy or International Management. The group already has more than 15 research active members, consisting of budding as well as world-leading researchers with an international reputation for its cutting edge research in the fields of brand management, sustainability, social enterprise, critical management & marketing and consumer behaviour.
The PostThe purpose of this post is to enhance the School's research profile and to both contribute to and lead in developing the field of strategy and/or international management; to develop and actively engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision; and to extend the School's profile regionally, nationally and internationally through collaboration with other institutions.
Qualifications and Skills requiredApplicants should have a PhD in Strategy, International Management or other specialism related to the area of the post (or be close to completing one), evidence of research output, either published or publishable, of peer-reviewed international quality and experience of teaching in the area of strategy and/or international management, or demonstrable potential for achieving this. You should also have a postgraduate degree or equivalent level qualification in strategy, international management, or other specialism related to the area of the post.
