Duties of the role
As part of your position as Domestic Services Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning various areas outdoors on the Colchester Campus and provide cleaning cover across all University buildings including the residential buildings as and when required by management.
Morning Shift– 30 hours per week to be worked. Current working hours for this post are Monday to Friday 5:30am to 12pm.
This position will predominantly be based outside.

Skills and qualifications
You must have the ability to undertake domestic cleaning to a high standard with good communication skills, a positive attitude to delivering good customer service and a flexible approach to work. You will ideally have an understanding of any Health and Safety information and guidance, in order to carry out the safe use of chemical and equipment, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
It is important that you are able to undertake physical aspects of the post, and have a flexible and positive approach to work, with a professional manner.
