An exciting opportunity is available in our Marketing and Student Recruitment team for a talented and committed professional. You will work closely with colleagues from across the University to ensure that our international recruitment agents and partners are engaged, kept up-to-date and recruitment opportunities have been maximized. Marketing and Student Recruitment is part of the University’s Communications and External Relations section.
Communications and External Relations brings together the main areas involved in leading the University's strategic positioning and profile. Engaging with students, staff and stakeholders we promote the University's excellence in research and education, and ensure its profile is communicated in a consistent way. We take an innovative and creative approach to our work and are at the forefront of new and best practice in communications, marketing, and stakeholder and customer service.
Duties of the Role
You will work closely with colleagues from across the University and the International Client Services team to undertake marketing and communications activities and develop strong working relationships with our student recruitment agent network, thereby maximising enrolments from agents. Among your responsibilities will be the implementation of agent communications plans, producing a variety of online training materials for agent-focused recruitment activities, producing international social media campaigns to support agents, among others.
Skills and qualifications required
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be confident to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and a proactive, enthusiastic, customer-focused and results orientated approach. You should also have experience in production of online and offline marketing materials, including giving design briefs, producing creative copy, project management and proof-reading.
