The School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences The School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences is a new department at Essex University bringing together physiotherapy, sports therapy, and sports and exercise sciences, and also including the Human Performance Unit. The Roles and DutiesThe role of the laboratory technician will be to support the running of the laboratories in the School, providing support to staff and students using the facilities and actively managing the equipment located within the laboratories. Qualification and Skills requiredWe are looking for someone with good technical acumen along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should hold a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths, at grade A-C (or equivalent) as well as a qualification in Biology or related disciplines, or a qualification as a laboratory technician.At the University of Essex internationalism is central to who we are and what we do.
