UECS - Essex SportEssex Sport is offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team this Easter for the return of our popular CHUMS holiday camp for children aged 5-14. Easter CHUMS will run over two weeks and include a packed schedule of activities in a variety of popular sports, and other fun team-based games. April 8th to 12th (week 1) and April 15th to 18th (week 2).We are looking for organised, positive, passionate individuals who are enthusiastic and have the capability to work with children creating a fun and safe environment. Duties of the role will include:Your job tasks will fall under, but not be limited to, a number of key areas:* Delivering fun and engaging sports sessions for children aged 5-14 years* To provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities, including preparing activities, organising sessions and setting up and packing down of equipment* Help develop and maintain good relationships with customers to facilitate day-to-day child development* To promote the aims and objectives of the holiday club * To be aware, understand and follow policies and procedures including health and safety, equality and safeguarding.Skills and Qualifications required:* Level 1 Sports Coaching Qualification* Strong leadership and organisations skills* A commitment to high quality customer serviceTo make an application please submit a CV and a 500-600 word document as to why you feel you would be ideal for this position.
