Strategic Planning and ChangeThe Strategic Planning and Change Section (SPCS) supports the University in the development, implementation and monitoring of the University's Strategic Plan and its supporting strategies.
The Strategic Planning and Change Section is seeking a professional, proactive, highly organised and motivated individual to undertake the role of Administrative Assistant.
Role and DutiesThe post-holder will provide administrative support to the Section, primarily within the Planning and Business Intelligence team to support the University's annual planning process and various other clerical and engagement activities.
Duties will include developing, monitoring and updating action plans; developing and implementing a communications plan to promote the availability of workshops, training and other engagement activities; assisting in updating of guidance documents and other documentations; and organising meetings and events, including booking of rooms and catering.
Qualifications and Skills requiredApplicants will be expected to have a good general level of education to A Level/BTEC or equivalent.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative and organisational skills, good attention to detail with a commitment to high standards, as well as excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
This post is fixed-term, part-time for 7.2 hours per week, covering a period of temporary absence of a permanent member of staff. Actual days/hours worked to be agreed with the successful candidate at the time of appointment.
