The Role and dutiesThe University of Essex's Employability and Careers Centre is looking for two Careers Information Assistants to join the Central Team and administer a highly accessible and informative information service to current students and recent graduates.
The successful candidate will be joining a team of careers and marketing professionals and will be an asset both to the delivery of accurate, timely and accessible information and the promotion of the service and its events schedule.
Qualifications and skills requiredThe right candidate will display a practical understanding of digital, print and direct marketing to communicate events and opportunities. You will also have an eager to learn attitude and be capable of delivering information and advice to a diverse and international student population on a one to one level while also engaging the student body on campus wide marketing and promotional initiatives for the Employability and Careers Centre. A levels (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) or equivalent (including English language and Maths) are essential.
