EIRA is funded by Research England and has a remit to accelerate cluster growth to generate a more fertile supply chain and improve the attractiveness of the region to inward investors. In addition, the consortium will harness the combined capacity to support an expansion in KE activities across the region. The project is led from the University of Essex’s Research & Enterprise Office (REO) and will be delivered in collaboration with the Universities of Kent and East Anglia and four other partners in the region.
Duties of the Role
The EIRA Marketing Assistant will work predominantly alongside the EIRA Engagement and Communications Officer to maintain a range of communications resources and deliver engagement events that support the successful delivery of the EIRA project. This role will also provide communications and marketing support to the Senior Innovation Marketing Officer to prepare and maintain marketing material that engage both internal and external audiences.
This post is a full-time, fixed-term post until 30 June 2021.
Skills and qualifications required
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience of marketing and communications, with a solid understanding of social media techniques, promotional activity and delivering events.
