**Internal Applicants Only**
A limited amount of graduate teaching will be available in the School of Law for PhD students for the academic year 2020-21. Teaching Assistants require a UK qualifying law degree, or an equivalent background in law (if unsure please contact Jamie Tuxford), and will also be required to undertake some marking. Training will be provided and GTAs are expected to complete the University’s CADENZA teaching qualification by the end of the academic year. We will consult with the PGR Progress Committee and the candidate’s supervisors in considering applications, on the basis that a GTA’s workload should not impede PGR progression.
We currently invite applications for GTA work. While we cannot yet finalise the list of modules in which we will need GTAs, it is likely to include some of the following:
LW101 - CONTRACT LAW (Spring term module)
LW103 – FOUNDATIONS OF PUBLIC LAW (Full year module)
LW104 - CRIMINAL LAW (Full year module)
LW105 - LEGAL SKILLS (Autumn term module)
LW108 - FOUNDATIONS OF THE LAW OF OBLIGATIONS (Autumn term module)
LW202 - EQUITY & TRUSTS (Spring term module)
LW209 - FOUNDATIONS OF THE LAW OF PROPERTY (Spring term module)
LW301 - JURISPRUDENCE (Autumn term module)
LW302 - LAW OF THE E.U. (Full year module)
LW303 - LAND LAW (Autumn term module)
