An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Energy Officer to join the Sustainability and Grounds Section.
About the role
You will report to the Energy Manager and administer the University’s utility supply accounts, billing and validation. Through data analysis you will also understand how the University uses energy and water across its estate and develop ways of reducing this in line with the University’s Sustainability Sub-Strategy and declaration of a Climate Emergency.

You will be practical and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and naturally driven to work with accuracy and in an orderly way. You will have an inquisitive nature to find and resolve problems and have experience carrying out administrative duties. You will have excellent communications skills, both written and oral and the ability to work well as a member of a team and independently using own initiative.
