The School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE)
Founded in 1966, the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE) is a large and vibrant department in the Faculty of Science and Health. CSEE is internationally known for its research in a range of areas, and offers an excellent education to its students. Currently we have over 1100 students studying across our undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses.
Duties of the role
The School is currently expanding its provision to include the delivery of courses with new external academic partners. The first of these, a collaborative provision with Northwest University in China, was launched in 2017-2018. We are seeking a customer-focused individual with excellent administrative and interpersonal skills to fill the post of Academic Partnerships Administrator. This is a new post for the School, and the role holder will be expected to help shape the role by developing, documenting and operating effective administrative procedures to ensure successful delivery of the course/s and to provide an excellent service to our external academic partners and students. While the post will focus on the collaboration with Northwest University in the first instance, the School is currently exploring other partnership opportunities and the post holder will also be expected to help in the development and support of other new initiatives as they are rolled out.
Skills and Qualifications required
The post holder will be expected to have good all-round administrative skills, ideally gained in a higher education setting, including basic financial record keeping skills, and be educated to A-Level standard or above.
