Duties of the RoleThe role will be responsible for providing high quality and efficient administrative support to postgraduate taught courses and students, working closely with the Directors and the wider school and acting as the first point of contact for students, academic colleagues and visitors.Responsibilities will include administering student casework matters and compiling paperwork as required, updating module and course records and descriptions and managing postgraduate taught student applications, among other administrative duties. You will also be required to assist with the production of academic information and guidance within the department, such as staff and student handbooks and process guidance.Qualifications and Skills requiredThe successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and will have qualifications in or evidence of demonstrating a high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Administrative experience within a fast-paced environment and experience of working within a customer focussed environment is also essential. You will have excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills and excellent standards of accuracy and attention to detail, along with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
