School of Health and Social Care (HSC)
The School of Health and Social Care has an excellent reputation for teaching and research. Our academic members of staff include occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychological therapists, nurses, social workers, oral health practitioners and sociologists. The School is run over two campuses; Southend and Colchester. Academic staff are supported by a team of administrative staff based at both Colchester and Southend campuses.
In April 2017, we were awarded a silver Athena SWAN award, which recognises the commitment the School has toward equality and development of an inclusive culture, promoting dignity and respect. These are, of course, qualities that are also endorsed by the values of the NHS constitution with which all staff and students engage.
The School is now looking to appoint a DCP Mentorship Programme Administrator.
Duties of the post
The main purpose of this post is to provide administrative support for the development of mentorship programme in clinical psychology within the School of Health and Social Care.
Duties will include collating, formatting and presentation of quality assurance, course development and course materials, liaising with local stakeholders to develop the mentorship programme and ensuring efficient and effective communication with all parties involved in the course development and validation process.

This is a part-time, fixed-term post until 31 July 2021.
Qualifications and Skills required
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level (grade A-C) or equivalent including in English and Maths, and will have administrative experience.
Experience of communicating with confidence to a diverse range of individuals and organisations on a professional level, accurate recording of data and ability to generate reports and eexperience in dealing with the dissemination of information and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for this post.
