We seek an outstanding researcher with an extensive background in machine learning, and specifically in Bayesian inference, for a project funded by the European Research Council on applying such methods to analyze very large datasets collected through games-with-a-purpose and to develop novel models of anaphoric interpretation. Advanced programming and mathematical skills are required. The successful candidate will have a first degree in computer science, computational linguistics/natural language processing or a related discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics) and a PhD in a field relevant to the application of statistical methods to natural language processing.
