The Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies is recognised internationally as one of the leading Departments for work that focuses on the role of the unconscious mind in mental health, culture and society and the many psychosocial factors, which influence our lives.
Duties of the Role
The post holder will be required to contribute to teaching and management of the Refugee Care Masters course.
Duties will include teaching on the MA in Refugee Care (available as a face-to-face and online-only course); assisting with supervision of essays and dissertations; assisting with publicity and social media in promoting the course; and administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills required
Applicants should possess a relevant postgraduate degree and have experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, or demonstrable potential to achieve this, and experience of designing and planning of learning activities and developing effective learning environments.
In addition, you will have experience of relevant work with vulnerable groups, e.g. migrants, refugees, homeless etc.

This is a fixed-term, part-time post for 14.4 hours per week (0.4 FTE) until 31 December 2021 to provide cover for an existing member of staff who is absent from work on maternity leave.
