Communications and External Relations
Communications and External Relations brings together the main areas involved in leading the University's strategic positioning and profile. Engaging with students, staff and stakeholders, we promote the University's excellence in research and education, and ensure its profile is communicated in a consistent
way. We take an innovative and creative approach to our work and are at the forefront of new and best practice in communications, marketing, and stakeholder and customer service.
An exciting opportunity is available in our Marketing and Student Recruitment team for a committed customer service professional.
Duties of the Role
We are looking to recruit 3 Enquiry Management Assistants to process enquiries from prospective students and applicants (using our CRM system) to support the activities of the Marketing and Student Recruitment Office and the Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions Offices. You will work closely with colleagues from across the University to ensure we provide an excellent customer service via both email and the website.
The Enquiry Management Assistants will work on a part-time basis and evening/weekend will be required. It is expected that 5 hours per week will provide cover for the Live Chat evening session (5pm-10pm). The Live Chat evening session can be covered from home.
Skill and Qualifications required
You should have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, strong administrative skills, a keen interest in customer service, experience of dealing with multiple priorities and tight deadlines, and experience using computer systems. Previous work within a customer service role is essential along with knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
