We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support the work of 'Make Happen', coordinated by the Essex Collaborative Outreach Network, which is a National Collaborative Outreach Programme based at the University of Essex.
This is a new collaborative network incorporating many partners including Higher Education Institutions, Further Education Schools, Schools, Local Authorities and third sector organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team committed to widening participation and raising aspiration into higher education across the county of Essex.
You will be responsible for creating an evaluation strategy to show the impact of Make Happen, but also to support the partner institutions with their monitoring and evaluation.
You will need to be confident in your abilities to produce and present data in a variety of formats and to a range of audiences. You will be required to analyse a range of data and develop accurate targets for the network to work towards, you will also be required to present your findings in front of an audience
The successful candidate for this role will have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent IT and numeracy skills, with a primary focus on Excel for data interrogation. A degree or equivalent higher education qualification is essential.
You will also require highly developed organisation skills to combat many different encroaching deadlines. There will be the requirement to work across the county of Essex and occasionally further afield.
