Skills and qualifications required
You will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, whilst managing a range of tasks against multiple deadlines. You will also have effective communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide and diverse range of people.
You need to demonstrate the ability to acquire knowledge and expertise rapidly to make informed judgements and to express opinions confidently

As a section, People & Culture is working towards the agenda set out in our People Supporting Strategy, which is aimed at supporting the University’s strategic goals. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to implement our new and ambitious five-year strategy.
The People & Culture section consists of three sub-sections, Employee Relations and Reward, Organisational Development and Workplace Health and Wellbeing.
An opportunity has arisen for an HR Professional to join our busy People & Culture Department supporting managers and teams as we deliver the priorities of our People Supporting Strategy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced team engaged in a wide variety of operational activities.
We have two fixed-term opportunities to cover a period of maternity leave for permanent members of staff; 01 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 and 01 February 2022 to 31 July 2022.
