Estates and Campus ServicesThe Estates Section is responsible for the management and servicing of the University estate including all building and grounds maintenance, cleaning of non-student accommodation buildings, security, post services, central purchasing and strategic capital planning. The section has a mix of professional, skilled and semi-skilled staff and seeks to provide a highly professional, cost effective service.The opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Helpdesk team within Estates and Campus Services.Duties of the RoleThe successful candidate will work in a busy and demanding environment that aims to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. As a Customer Service Assistant within the Estates and Campus Services Section you will be responsible for providing a professional and customer focused service, working both on your own initiative and as part of a team.The post holder will log, respond, plan and organise the full life cycle of all facilities management administration operations from customer enquiry to job completion, deliver excellent customer service and interpret and manage work orders through the Facilities Management software package, currently Planet Enterprise, ensuring that service level agreements and key performance indicators are met. You will also administer the University's car parking registration system and other administrative tasks.Skills and Qualifications requiredThe successful candidate will hold GCSE's in English and Mathematics grade C and above or equivalent and you will have previous experience of creating and distributing communications, along with extensive experience of using Microsoft Office applications.You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
